Shakuria Davis recognized with award for research presentation!

Shakuria Davis presented lab research at the 2019 USM LSAMP Fall Research Symposium which was held Dec. 7, 2019 on the campus of the University of Maryland College Park. She was awarded 2nd place in the oral presentation competition.

Undergraduate and graduate students who worked collaboratively with Shakuria on this project include William Harrod, Ethan Childs, Bethany Ngere, Ngoy Yamitshi, Sherene Black, and Isis Amaye. Dr. Tracy Bell and Dr. Patrice Ayotunde served as research mentors.
